DESCRIPTION: The essential tour for all visitors to Norfolk Island. This tour will set the scene for the rest of your holiday and introduce you to the splendours of our island paradise. Farm & Industry Tour

OPERATING TIMES: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday @ 1 pm.
DESCRIPTION: Come behind tourism and see our local industries. You will visit the island's largest market garden that provides for 70% of the islands fresh fruit and vegetables. You will visit a piggery that recycles waste for energy production. You will visit Norfolk's largest export industry of kentia palms to Europe. You will visit 'Two Chimneys Vineyard' and learn about this 'boutique' industry. And you will enjoy the experience of our only soft drink and liqueur factor, and taste liqueurs based on many of our wild fruits. Afternoon tea is served in an award winning cliff top garden.

Convict Ruins Tour

OPERATING TIMES: Tuesday @ 9 am (other tours can be run on demand for groups of eight 8 or more)
DESCRIPTION: Journey through historic Kingston - to the graveyard, ruins and buildings that are regarding as the most impressive collection of convict built Georgian buildings in the southern hemisphere. Learn about the commandants, convicts and settlers that played a part in Norfolk's sometimes brutal, but always intriguing past. A three (3) hour tour with morning or afternoon tea served.

Breakfast Bushwalking Tour

OPERATING TIMES: Wednesday @ 8 am.
DESCRIPTION: Learn about our flora and fauna and see some our 40 endemic species of plants and birds. Wander through our National Park and take in its magnificent beauty. Finish up with a beautiful breakfast of fruit, cereal, yogurt and juice, followed by a cooked breakfast with coffee and tea. Approximately 2.5 hours duration, and special food requirements are catered for.

Sutainable Gardens Tour

OPERATING TIMES: Wednesday @ 1 pm.
DESCRIPTION: Visit three island gardens and learn about how their owners use sustainable gardening practices to produce plentiful vegetables, fruit, and pleasure gardens.

Artists Trail

OPERATING TIMES: Thursday @ 1 pm.
DESCRIPTION: This is a unique chance to meet local artists in their creative studios. You will meet a local bone carver, a silk painter and potter, a mixed media artist, and a print maker. You will learn about how our stamp issues are produced. The ultimate experience will be a visit to the magnificent 360 degree panoramic painting at the Cyclorama, and meet the artists who created this amazing pictorial history of the mutiny on the Bounty and the Norfolk Island people.

Progressive Dinner

OPERATING TIMES: Tuesday and Thursday @ 5 pm.
DESCRIPTION: A great way to meet four (4) of our local families and enjoy the warm hospitality whilst being welcomed into their homes to enjoy a 'progressive dinner' of four courses. Sherry, wine and port are provided, but you can BYO. Approximately four hours duration, and special food requirements are catered for.

Fish Awas Way (Fish Our Way)

OPERATING TIMES: Wednesday and Friday @ 5 pm. (or 4:30pm in Winter)
DESCRIPTION: Enjoy our island style fish served in three (3) different ways - fried, curried and Tahitian. There is a collection of salads, and some of our island dishes too. Dessert, tea and coffee served. All of this is in the comfort of a local home overlooking Duncombe Bay. Your experience then turns to another cliff top property to watch the sunset where you are served wine, port, cheese, olives and crackers.

Island Dinner - A Baunti Day Experience

OPERATING TIMES: Sunday @ 6:30 pm.
DESCRIPTION: Learn about Norfolk's rich traditional culture by enjoying a Bounty Day style feast. Bounty Day is held on each June 8 and commemorates the landing of 194 people from Pitcairn Island on Norfolk in 1856. The highlight of the celebrations is a lunchtime feast of Norfolk Island foods held in the compound of the convict built jail at Kingston. Discover the diverse range of island dishes with their European, Polynesian and American influences. Learn about the weaving, language, music and history that is unique to Norfolk from local Bounty descendants.

DESCRIPTION: Visit a wonderful selection of island properties and learn about how their owners use sustainable gardening practices that are so effective in producing plentiful, healthy fruit and vegetables, and pleasure gardens.

Kingston My Way

OPERATING TIMES: Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 9 am.

DESCRIPTION: Learn first hand how the magnificent Georgian buildings at Kingston were built, as well as why, when and by whom. Puss Anderson who spent 40 years as head of Restoration at Kingston will be your guide.
